Pros

These chess pieces fit perfectly on the granite engraved chess board. Fit nicely on the pictured 11 inch board. If you have a wood board, then this is ideal as it will not scratch your board.

The craftsmanship is pretty good. Nicely weighted and fine quality. Perfectly balanced and have a great feel in your hand. Good design and very sturdy.

The weighting is noticeable and much better than the non-weighted pieces that came with my set. Heavy enough to last. They are lightweight but still playable.

The wood grain on black is beautiful. Complements the colors of my tiger ebony maple board with 2 squares. One of the darker rooks has a spot on top where the finish isn't quite all there, but it's not distracting. Very reminiscent of my larger house ... Read More

This listing is very deceiving to customers. The others aren't quite flat and are slightly wobbly. Many have the felt pads off center so they don't stand straight.
