Ships really well and does not need to be refrigerated. I appreciate that it came in good shape and promptly. I love that it is shelf stable.
This review is for the silken extra firm tofu. It is perfect for all the recipes that call for silken tofu. Simply break up this tofu and mix with vegan ‘chicken’ bouillon, turmeric, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper.
Cons
When you open the package and try to squeeze the water out it crumbles into pieces. When cooked the taste is awful and the texture is slimy. Even if i never had the refrigerated tofu this is still awful.
