The blade itself comes from the factory razor sharp. It can be sharpened and polished even more. It isn't that bright yellow shown in the listing it is more of a mustard yellow and subdued, i like it.

This one has a blade that's about as thick as the heavier-duty companion. The blade is sharp and feels well made. Great blade length for most tasks.

The knife is very well balanced and handy with a razor sharp edge straight out of the package

The finished spine produces great sparks from the firestick

Amazon has a bad habit of trying to filter in returns to people as new if they can make the packaging look new
