After trying for a good hour of smashing rocks onto the handle we couldnt break the plastichandle material off

I managed to somewhat smash the front part but in the end the only way to get it off was to melt it off in a fire

The metal of the blade goes back about 75 of the way into the handle this was such a great knife one of the first things i did when i got home was order a few and they only run 1520
