Pros

The grip is firm and secure and you can put it in dishwasher to sanitize when necessary. I have average size hands, and it fits perfectly.

For a knife that is legendary, you need to get a helle or spyderco. Excellent product.

The thicker full scandi area is great for wood batonning, feather sticks and various forms of push cutting. The blade profile is thinner toward the tip; i find this useful for preparing food.

The bushcraft sheath has a closed loop, and the attachment point lets the knife swivel. The forest green sheath covers more of the knife's handle, and holds the knife more securely. The sheath is typical mora plastic, but it is an upgrade from the com...  Read More

As far as bang for the buck, they are unmatched. Carbon steel is work to upkeep, and he won't - this is the perfect compromise for utility with less upkeep for my friend. They're all great knives and inexpensive enough to pass out to friends when thei...  Read More

Usually, i love mora knives, but this one was different. Probably why they're so cheap.

Quality

Gtpaired with the laplander i would consider this an ultra light wood prep setup that also sees dual duty for food and camp utility

A worldfamous brand which is also much less expensive than other wellknown knife brands you cant go wrong with this product

Just butchered a deer with the mora

This is another reason why i stick with the fully enclosed belt loop

Price

I bought this knife after reading reviews from hikers who like the price point and its sharpness

The price went up significantly the following week

Packaging/appearance

This is a well made knife that came with good sharp blade right out of the box

The knife has a stainless steel blade and the knife comes razor sharp out of the box like all moras ive ever purchased

Competitiveness

Made a kydex sheath so im good to go

I take this knife with a bacho laplander and have all my bases covered

On a traditional scandi grind the belly and tip is too obtuse

For the price of one competitor knife i could buy 10 different mora knives that im sure would stand up against anything

At slightly more than 20 bucks you arent afraid to put it through some major abuse despite that it seems to take everything you can throw at it

I have another knife that twice this cost and another thats 6x that yet has much better steel but actually gets less use because im more reticent to beat the crap out of it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

One is a fully enclosed belt loop that fits wider belts but requires the user to undo their belt to attach and remove the sheath from their hip

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The other attachable belt clip is just like the standard belt clip found on the mora companion sheath

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

If you dont know what that clip looks like just do a quick good search for mora companion and your bound to get some good pictures

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I did find that the smaller companion style belt loop seems to not accommodate as large of a belt as the clip on the regular companion model though

This is another reason why i stick with the fully enclosed belt loop
