Pros

The best part is that it's just slightly adjusted but does not become a complete kiddy cartoon. My kids say that the books have information that you can't get in the monster manual, so they find them invaluable!

The quality is superb and the books are incredibly readable for ages 6+. I highly recommend fantasy role-playing for kids & adults, and these books are a nice intro! My son loves it and it helped inspire him to read more.

Cons

These are great descriptively for introducing fantasy concepts to kids but it's bereft of any game mechanics. They seem entirely pointless to me.
