That said i had a cheaper noname cable from a local store before and it fizzled out and died in about 6 months

That led me to buy better constructed cables in the future and this one will not die as quickly as mine did no matter how much you abuse it

Regular rca cables can cause a loud hum from a subwoofer even if its not receiving a signal from your ampreceiver
