These shocks were warranty replacements

The muffler and tailpipe were in the way of getting access to the top nut of where the top of the shock attaches

When i first tried to put the lower part of the new shock in place it was way too long and overshot the metal sleeve where you place the lower end of the shock

If you never drive off road on anything worse than well maintained gravel roads and commonly dont carry much in your truck bed i wouldnt recommend these shocks as they do ride a bit stiffer and in those circumstances would be a waste of better ride quality
