Monoprice stuff is always an awesome deal on quality merch. The sleeve gives me some comfort on the protection of the fiber from getting kinked and bent. It's on a little pricier side but all worth it.

Works as advertised. Works perfectly to transmit 5. At 100' with a monoprice optical cable. No lag over 75 foot run.

As for the 34inflexible34 part the cable is kind of stiff so it doesnt want to lay neatly behind the components
