If you are looking for a cost friendly introduction to mechanical keyboards, this is a great one to try.I've never used Outemu brown switches before and I wanted to try them out, and I wanted a TKL. Monoprice is a brand I've heard of and the price is on the cheaper side for mechanical keyboards, and i found this on sale, so I bought it.Compared to cherry reds, the keys are much stiffer (30-55 cN force vs 45cN for reds). The typing experience is great, its just different. I have another keyboard with Outemu blues on it, so I was hoping that these browns would feel similar to the blues but without the clickiness, but that isn't the case. These feel a little stiffer than the blues, and I would say I like the way the blues feel better, even though I like these plenty. The blues feel about as tactile but I find myself bottoming out more on these.The weight is great, its feels solid and it doesn't move around at all on my desk, they way some of my lighter keyboards do. The braided cable is very nice, and thick, but it sucks that its not detachable. That's not a surprise at this price point.It does have some built in macro settings, but I didn't use them.Other thoughts:The keycaps it comes with are semi-translucent keys meant for a backlit keyboard. You can see that clearly in the picture so I'm not docking any eggs. I tried a couple sets of keycaps on them and ended up choosing Miami. In many, but not all, sets of keycaps I tried, I found that the left and right shift, and enter keys, tended to have the issue where the key won't depress if you press it too close to the bottom. That's why in one photo those keys are a different color.It uses cherry stabilizers. I'm partial to costar. Whatever.  Read Less
