Pros

The mono price cable beats the blue jeans cable on sharpness and realistic colors. The mp 2. Cable looks and feels premium. Durable and good looking.

Cable feels sturdy. Maybe a little rigid but maintains its shape after bending it to fit in a tight space. Build quality is sturdy and it came well packaged.

Foot braided external cover with sturdy connectors. Plugs fit into hdmi ports in a smooth/crisp yet snug manner. Gold plated connectors fit snug on both ends.

Cons

The build quality of the cable itself feels quite nice, but it's capabilities don't come near to whats advertised. Not terrible, but no where near what is advertised. One works fine the other produces dropouts or plain no connection errors.

This cable is junk and cannot achieve even 40gbps for 4k120, let alone the advertised 48gbps. It works fine at 1080p 60fps, but at 4k 120hz there are frequent drops in connection causing the screen to go black for seconds at a time every minute or two... Read More

I buy all of my cables almost exclusively from monoprice when i can now a days

Better than any other cable i’ve bought

I have had no success with monoprice hdr10 or dolby digital

It also struggles with hdr10 which is being more commonly used in movies streamed through netflix hulu
