Pros
The attached photo shows one plug after sanding and the other plug before sanding. They actually look much better than the picture shown, as far as surface and plating. Works great for this purpose. Simple little 3. Plug is perfect for sanding.
The adapter is a a six sided hexagon shape about 7/16 inch wide. It works perfect and fits and locks into the lapel mic port well. External speaker jack on a cobra 29 ltd classic takes a 1/8 male.
Cons
The mono side is not 3. Would not plug into stated 3. Inserting the stereo headphone jack into this adapter was very difficult. Same thing i get when i plug the stereo headset directly into the radio.

It works but i had an that the case diameter was too big to fit one of my radio… the ones it fit it worked great…
