Pros & Cons

Pros

The m565cs are sturdy and beautiful. They are now crystal clear and full. Construction quality is awesome. That's why i felt compelled to write this review.

The headband isn’t the greatest design but you can wrap it with padding to solve any comfort issue. It’s a bit of a trick to get the pads to adhere though as the stock pads are held on by velcro.

And since the cables can be disconnected for traveling, it's important to know which cable is left, and which is right.

Cons

The back is a velcro thing instead of a lip. Jiggle the jack or connection, cut in and out. Sound from cable movement leaks far too much into the speakers. There is a cable connector design flaw.

The monolith m565cs just aren't well-balanced. Echoing others - do not buy these headphones as there is a manufacturing/design issue. The quality of the headphones is terrible, but construction is worthless. The sound is amazing, but the build quality...  Read More

I ultimately liked the sound of the m565c the best but that was closely followed by the sundara

All of the headphones i tried had particular things about them that i didnt like enough to keep them

And so i ended up just buying ear pads for my old phillips fidelio x1s which honestly were still comparable to any of these newer headphones

The bottom end felt a bit anemic and didnt 34fill out34 the music the way a balanced closed back headphone will

The reason i returned them was the build quality was poor in regards to the ear cups

The metal band that attaches to the ear cups and inserts into the headband was very loose

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

There is a plastic connection there and it was simply to wide by about 11634 and this allowed the entire ear cup assembly to wiggle freely with about 31634 of movement

When they headphones are placed on your head this becomes a nonissue but it still is either very poor design or poor qc
