Highlights
Quality
Im just the average home theater guy who has built my own theater and i am very pleased with the subwoofer
Sound quality wise i actually liked the monolith 15” better than the rythmik fv18 1700 i heard at a forum gettogether
I played life 2017 with the monolith 15 for them and they were blown away
Do remember that i auditioned this sub with the gain maxed out
Competitiveness
My 12inch jbl l8400p subwoofer that i bought in 2006 ago died a few months ago
I researched my options and although info was less plentiful on this monoprice 10inch ported thx unit i decided to give it a try
As was mentioned by others the midbass is a few db off of some of its competition but it shines in the speed department and real lfe
I can only imagine what a 15inch version of this can do
