Pros
This is a stylish helmet that i bought for my 7 yo son. The expandable push button thing on the back is really nice. Much easier to fit than just the pads on the inside.
Cons
It's too heavy. It's my son's helmet and he complains the straps come out from the helmet. To get something this destroyed—with a crack in the exterior even, is really disappointing and frustrating.

While its a bit heavier than the velodrome and urban commutes hopefully the helmets design for rocks boulders on the trails is overkill for noggin protection for curbs

It has thin padding that is velcroed to the protective foam

That foam is a styrofoam material and id say its 5834 inch thick where the chin straps attach and all the way around the helmet

Since helmets are one done disposable this helmets hardshell might be overkill for skidding in the event the crash is more horizontal sliding skid wipe out rather than a direct drop and stop

My son is 9 almost 10 and we have bought him youth helmets before so i thought i was safe but it was just a bit big even on the smallest adjustment
