Pros
This gate is fantastic. I have 2 retrievers and a labrador (one retriever is just 8 months old) and not one of them has barged through it. A fantastic product.
It's very well made and swishes across the door space easily, clipping at two places to hold it in place. Easy to use - just pull it across and put the handles into the hooks. Has saved me having to put locks on all my kitchen cupboard and drawers.
Cons
The lock is far too easy to open to prevent an inquisitive child from opening it. It's a bit flimsy and on the ocassions my son can't open the gate he climbs under it or through the gap on the side. Multiple holes in the wall and £54 down the drain.
Without these it is unusable. This small part becomes brittle and breaks, rendering the whole product useless.
The plastic is too flimsy and weakens dramatically over time. Brackets are cheap flimsy plastic. Not able to withstand an 28.
