The one difference that initially concerned me was that the rubber gasket does not fit the outer perimeter as tightly as most do

I thought this would be an issue but conceptually the outter rim doesnt need a tight seal its just that the gasket needs to form a tight seel around the filter when the top is screwed on

The rubber gasket not fitting extremely tightly has actually been a plus when it comes to cleaning
