Pros
It’s a very good idea to have a new pair of scissors or very sharp hair scissors or even a box cutter. They are in what the industry calls the 8x10 rug family. Sorry about my rant.
Cons
The smell of this rug pad is like bad solvent type fumes. Even organic mattresses have a distinct odor that needs a little time. This rug pad should be pulled off the shelves until the problem is fixed.
This mat has an unusual problem. Our rug slips off the top of the mat. I have a 2 x 14 runner so ordered the 2 foot wide pad, and it is 25 inches, now i have to deal with cutting 1 inch off of a 20 foot long pad!
Once again, buyer beware on amazon products that are not what they claim.

It is great to stop the rug from slipping around the felt grips the rug and the rubber backing keeps it well on my wood flooring
This is a well made underlay which i can see lasting for years
The top of the pad is made of material that grips the rug
This pad gave just enough cushion underfoot and grips the rug so it doesnt slide at all
Price
I picked this because i liked the price and the thickness
Good for the price i paid around 42 at the time of purchase
Was a decent price and decent quality

Fortunately i found it shortly after it was delivered

If there is additional packaging offered i definitely would opt for this should i decide to order any other pads from mohawk

Our mat was a little bigger than our 8’x10’ rug i’m not sure of the mat was bigger or our rug was smaller than 8’x10’ which gave us some room to trim the mat

My rug has a chair on the corner of it and the rug kept buckling up and sliding

Doesnt have the same gripping a rubbery type but between the thickness of the rugs and density of this pad they dont move but if you want to move them they are easier to deal with than the rubbery kind on our lvt floors
