This is a good price for a good product - i'm so glad we didn't go cheap and get something thinner as it really makes a difference. Happy with my purchase.
Using this over a hardwood floor with the rubber side down. Used for 2' x 7' runner on hardwood floors. The rug bunches only a little over the top but i have two kids and a handful of cats, and they run down the hallway constantly.
It gives a little cushion and keeps my rug from sliding. The pad stays in place perfectly on our hardwood floors.
Cons
Very, very dissatisfied. This is a heavy, bulky item. Once again, buyer beware on amazon products that are not what they claim.

Disappointed on the sizing. Do not trust the dimensions shown on the packing. The actual dimensions are, 72. It is not easy to trim!

The seams of the thin plastic wrap around the pad were split considerably when the pad arrived
