Pros
This rug mat holds your rug firmly in place. It keeps your rug from sliding and bunching on your laminate wood floors. It's super cushiony and makes your rug stay put.
It's thicker than you think. Just as expected, both in thickness and non-slip surface. Used an electric scissor to cut to side.
Cons
This is a heavy, bulky item that will be incredibly inconvenient to return. Needless to say, this is totally unacceptable. Once again, buyer beware on amazon products that are not what they claim.

Quality
Quality is great and it helps my new area rug feel plush and much more comfortable
Padding under quality rugs on hardwood floors
Though i honestly cant say i smell it with the rug down on top of it anymore
But i knew i needed a rug pad and i knew i needed a slightly thicker one due to the uh quality of the rug

I shouldve gotten the thickest mat but the price was just too much for the carpet i purchased
The reviews were correct and right on and of course the price was right
Packaging/appearance
The rug would not stay in place and each time i went into the laundry room i would have to readjust it

We bought a 10x14 rug to go in our living room and knew we needed a really good pad
I just purchased a 3pack of openers and decided to give it a try

By the time the rug arrived we realized a pad was not needed but pad was past date we were able to return

I ordered size specific 8x10 and it’s about 2 inches bigger and had to be trimmed and the material is tough to cut through

Tried five different types of scissors to cut it all failed including some fiskars toothed scissors that work as paramedic scissors

We have a laminate floor while we have very heavy furniture to place on it we didnt want it walking
