Pros & Cons
Pros
It isn't velcro but it is very “sticky’ and grabbed my old ruggable almost better than the original pad. It adds padding, not soft cushion, but perfect for my grandson rolling over on it and soon to crawl! Bought rug pad to put a large rug onto carpet... Read More
Cons
The rug pad has a strong chemical smell. The material has a persistent chemical odor. The pad smells so terrible we can't have it in the house.
The rubberized back is an ok touch but there is no difference, that we can tell, between this 3/4in and a waffle padding that we had under our old carpet. The non-slip pad is degrading and smells like it is burning.
Highlights
Quality
Extremely impressed with the quality and grip
Good quality and stays in place well on my wood floors
Price
I recommend it especially the reasonable price
Competitiveness
The padding is slightly larger than 5x7 rug but actually not really necessary to trim
