Dont have to worry about buying the old light bulbs with the big base

This one is much higher quality and i’m sure it will last much longer

I literally got the adapter today so i can’t speak on longevity of product

I was able to use this on my old floor lamp with modern lowwatt light bulb when the antique bulb with the large base finally burned out

Competitiveness

My very old lamp uses a 3way bulb with a mogul base but they are hard to find

At any rate it used a 300w large base bulb that did not seem to last very long and was expensive to buy and operate
