I can view this event on the dvr and if they are left on even when i am in canada shes in us i can turn the lights off with smartlife app in seconds

What i like nice appearance good led indicators for the connectivity status good app has a pleasant ui and robust functionality good instructions they give clear information on how to set up the switch and troubleshoot any errorswhat else you should know this item will absolutely not work unless its a 3 way switch installation

If you dont have the shared control wire you wont be able to use this switch

Overall happy with it and it easily integrated into alexa with the tuyasmart app i prefer this one over the smarthome app both by the same group
