Pros

The parts are sturdy and well made. Moen parts are excellent imho. Faucets instantly renewed to like new operation.

Cartridge 1224b is 90 degree turn (so called quarter or half turn), and is usually used for sink faucets. Once the cartridge is removed itis very simple to replace and stop the faucet from dripping. This cartridge is a moen oem part.

Cons

The moen 1224 valve puller is a terrible product. Moen faucets are known to drip after less than two years.
