Pros
Sanded mercruiser outdrive and painted with this, then outdrive antifouling on top - holds the paint on perfectly, lasts the season on the mooring. Best paint ever.
It works great for priming aluminum, as far as i can tell. It covers and adheres well to galvanized metal after the oil has worn away. Used on aluminum outdoor table and chairs to stop corrosion.
Cons
The name of this product is deceptive at best. It contains zinc potassium chromate which is a pigment and not the same or similar to zinc chromate.

First this primer then the color paint then the clear coat

I steamed cleaned the aluminum first and then used vinegar to cleanetch rinsed that off and applied the zinc chromate
