Pros

It’s easier for steps 6 and 7 to look at the instructions upside down to orient yourself (see pics). This does that.



Cons

On the seat it's not an issue, but the armrests are unbearable. The only way to tighten the arms is to take the back off the chair. As an occasional use drafting chair, it's probably fine but this is not a daily use/work chair.

Ended up stripping the provided hex wrench and had to use one of my own made of hardened steel. I doubt there would be stripped screw holes if this was actually brand new and assume it was probably repackaged.

    One of the screw holes on the bottom of the seat was poorly threaded but i was able to force it in with some wd40

    Once assembled the left side arm rest is a teeny bit taller than the right so it doesn’t tuck the same under the edge of my counter height desk space but maybe i have a crooked floor
