We upgraded to a king size from a queen and were worried about it overtaking our bedroom but because this has such clean lines and sits lower it wasnt an issue at all

However i believe that the photo is a different color wood due to cymax selling it in 3 different wood colors on their own site

It did arrive with the backs of the drawer modules floating around in the box as if they were never attached to the rest of the drawer part
