With the ford i thought this unit was dead as it wouldn’t work

That was until i reread the instructions which pointed to the overload button

Apparently there is a safety mechanism built in so as to avoid accidental shorting of the leads

It would put out juice only after it detects a battery connected

The only issue is when recharging the unit the charge will indicate 100 but will not actually be fully charged
