Pros

The brewer is serviceable with replacement parts readily available. We are typically used to makers bolted together in one box shape. This one still works after 6 years! It's taken me a long time to get used to his coffee.

This is the best coffeemaker i've ever owned. The coffee that this machine makes is unbelievably good. Coffee results are great but not better than my cuisinart self grind.

Still brewing well. Open design makes the house smell great while brewing. The capacity is second to none, and for the size it makes the coffee pretty quickly. I wish the water reservoir had some kind of markers.

It’s very easy to setup. Easy to use. One button and simple to load and remove the basket. No annoying beeps.

Solid on/off switch. Perfect for if you have guests. Reliable, consistent, and hot coffee.

Cons

The filter basket position is not adjustable. The drip stop is manual and keeps dripping even after you close it. It has a 5 year warranty but only if it is a manufacturer defect.

Add the cost of a buratza encore coffee bean grinder to this machine and you have 5 stars

We love it and i think it’s worth the money

Not sure what to do at this point but at this price point i expect at least a return email let alone a resolution to this problem

I shipped the coffee maker to technivorm on monday and had it back and in working order on thursday

Literally just fell off i contacted technivorm and was promptly sent a new one no questions asked

The packaging wasn’t damaged so i can only assume that this was an oversight at the factory

You need to find the ones sold in plastic bags with the number “6001” on the front

Competitiveness

I was able to buy a box of 1000 bunn filters on amazon for about 15 which is about the same cost as 100 technivorm brand filters

This is the largest one offered and brews about the same amount as our previous 12 cup cuisinart

I was comparing the moccamaster vs the breville precision brew also a 60oz capacity but the simplicity of the moccamaster won me over

Coffee results are great but not better than my cuisinart self grind
