    Note that the tools are really small and not really sufficient for lifting up the screen of the phone but i had tools from before so this didnt matter youd need a suction cup or some sort of a prying tool as well with a thin strong edge maybe the edge of a carpet knife would work

    Also not sure if its because my phone didnt show up on the compatible models list but the hole for the third screw that allows you to fix the small circuit board on the cable of the button assembly to the phone was missingnot in the right place

    Since the circuit board part of the cable was loose i also decided to put a bit of tape over it to prevent it from shorting in case it presses against other components inside the phone once the phone is reassembled

    Also as mentioned in the product description itself youll always lose the touch id capability if replacing the home button

    You will lose touch id but if your button doesn’t work it doesn’t matter
