Since it is small and handheld it is not meant for hardcore projects such as trimming or shaping large shrubs

Never could get it to close properly so i ended up buying an additional trimmer same style and type

They wont cut branches but that isnt why i bought them

The only issue is the bottom plate is a bit difficult to remove to change blades
