Pros & Cons
Pros
Some complain of the fussiness of using the clamp. This takes only seconds to a minute or so, depending on how accustomed you are. If you want the least stressful, you already know this is the product to buy.
It is sturdier than i had imagined. My only complaint is the screw/bolt that secures the band is a 3/8-16 threaded rod.
If you dry-fit and then loosen just enough to easily slip the corners off, it’s easy to pop them back on again and tighten once you’ve applied glue.
Cons
The flat coil spring inside was broken. Worthless now. Couldn't return.
Highlights
Quality
This clamp is very high quality and very easy to use
Easy to use and can clamp tight with no slipping
I dont have any large clamps and it would have taken many traditional clamps to achieve what this well designed product does all by itself
If you don’t dry fit first and try to glue up and adjust all at one it’s going to feel like a hurried mess
Price
Great versatile clamp at a great price
The price is quite reasonable for a tool of such quality and capability
So far worth the costs far as i can see
For me this is a 34once in a while tool34 but its priceless when you need it
Packaging/appearance
Since i bought it for a hexagonal box im planning on building i almost decided to return it based on 34false advertising34
Competitiveness
This brand costs more than some of the others shown but it’s worth it
A big difference between this and the cheaper models is that this one uses a metal strap not a fabric strap
