Pros
The edge machining presents a ground square surface and makes a precise pencil or knife line. It feels comfortable to the hand with an almost undetectable yet adequate easing of the corners. I'm a woodworker and for me it is perfect.

I would have preferred a centering scale instead of the 164 scale as hartford tool does but alas hartford discontinued their 6inch rule

It was of english manufacture and except for half the edges that were wasted on metric scales useless in us woodworking i felt it was adequate
