Pros

They're very smooth, make clear marks, and feel good to use. They are also easy to hold and smooth. Spend a little extra to get these over the cheap office store products.

Lead is soft enough to read dark without a lot of pressure, but stacked pages and closed notebooks don’t smudge. Holds a nice point without crumbling. Great for crossword puzzles.

Writes well, finish and stamping are flawless. Better than the overpriced blackwing. Using them for journal writing. They write smoothly.

The cores are nicely centered, and the graphite (hb) seems to hold a point pretty well. The pencils are easily sharpened with no one sided effect often a problem in the mass produced generation of pencils these days. Have only taken notes so far with ... Read More
