Mellow, quieter tone. It stays in tune pretty decently and the tuning pegs feel tight enough to me. Any song i play on molly sounds great, happy or sad.
The mitchell mu70 is laminated wood with a heavy gloss finish--aesthetically beautiful, but not as loud and resonant as many more delicate ukes. Good spruce top, and the rest of the uke is made of rosewood. One issue i've found with several other ukes... Read More

The instrument had its break in period which all instruments have and it now stays in tune unless i travel with it and bang it around more than i should
