Pros

This reel is amazing for the price. Not only is it a qualify spinning reel, but the price is great! This one is as good as any i've used. Its a mitchell, grandson loves it. Thanks mitchell and congratulations, this one is a keeper!

Cons

Even after oiling and greasing, it is still not smooth, and generally does not have the feel of higher quality reels. Made in china but the worst part is that green canyon outfitters will not give me an exchange. Not the 300 that was advertised.

    Update discovered a problem with the design when you remove a spool there are two small pieces the main shaft washer and the main shaft ratchet can fall off the main shaft if you arent careful

    Reel is very smooth except when retrieving and the anti reverse lever is engaged if the bail is not in the exact position it is next to impossible to snap the bail shut unless you disengage the anti reverse feature very annoying

    The eva knob was not glued on but a dab of epoxy and that was fixed in a couple minutes
