Pros & Cons
Pros
Works great for me on a 1-1/4 receiver. Takes the rattle and movement of shank out. Fixed the bouncing on the hitch hauler.
Well made, paint coating is strong and durable. Heavy duty, and really helps remove the swag and pitch. U-bolt, washers and nuts.
It should be considered standard equipment when towing medium to larger loads such as rvs & construction equipment. Installed on my truck for towing my boat and camper.
Cons
Metal plate seems to have bent and the black coating is flaking off where the stress fracture is forming. Bought another one from a different manufacturer. This is not graded hardware, but not even good enough for a simple task as this.

After getting home after a 500 mile trip with the rv trailer still hook up and parked in driveway i was able to pull receiver ... Read More

If you see it for this price snatch it up it’s 5 stars
Cost was very competitive with the cheap quality chinese products
I just checked and the latest price is 15
Packaging/appearance
It takes almost all of the rattle out of the drawbar
I was surprised to see proudly made in usa on packaging
Competitiveness
I paid a premium versus other tighteners and believe i got a decent value for my money
Im glad i spent a little bit more to get the one that was made in the usa

This just snugs things up it needs to be right up against the receiver holding the hitch down not trying to lift the trailerrack

Seems like the lock nut should prevent that
