It is to my mind, however, more of an introduction to all the varied contexts surrounding the authorship of these first century documents than it is a definitive resource. This book is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone.

Thought-provoking, challenging, and engaging. Takes off your culturally tinted glasses and helps open your eyes to the truths intended from the outset. Highlights many of the main differences westerners and non-westerners have in terms of world view.

They analyze scripture innacurately and haphazardly. I have to agree with many of the reviews that this book misses the mark so often that it isn’t worth finishing.
