The inside is very soft faux velvet, and as you can see fits so much stuff very nicely. Good quality materials and durable. It's very sturdy and made well.

It is nice that there is a pouch that the necklaces can fit into. This keeps them from tangling with the compartments. I wish the dividers fit into a slot.
