However the holes on the back of the mirror are an even 13 inches apart whereas on the template i received they are only 12

You can adjust how low you want it to go as there is multiple holes on the door attachment

The only fault is the adjustment screw holes are not properly aligned as result part of one hanging hook is barely visible on one side of the mirror

If this were going on a door that you use frequently you would likely want to use some sort of adhesive to secure the bottom of the mirror
