I also research and found you should use hot water when watering your tree and keep it at least 2 inches deep

We put our tree up in november and at the end of december very few needles were dropping

I couldn’t say for sure that it was solely this product or perhaps a combination with the hot water that kept the sap loose but either way the tree lived forever
