If you are satisfied with 500ml, which i am, it works superlatively. Every time i talk to him he raves about how great it is.

All metal, zero plastic and no glass to break. Keeps liquids warmer for much longer. Warm it up before brewing by filling it with hot water and letting it sit for about 5 minutes.

The pot is solid and rinses easily. It is sturdy and well made. Much more economical than walking down to starcrooks.

This is my first french press and it works great using a coarse grind. This french press is durable, pretty (light blue), and the coffee tastes so fresh and delicious. Love most things about this insulated french press.

Cons

The drilled and tapped fixture on the plunger top was drilled at a slight angle from the axis of the shaft. Returning this misrepresented item back to amazon. Will try for refund and buy a bodum.

The lid is stained with dried and yellowish spots that could be scratched out by fingernail. Discovered significant milky water in the lid.

With the lid fully seated on and spun around so the opening for pouring is hidden there is still a gap visible

Once you are ready to press make sure the arrow on the lid meets with the spout

I end up pouring my coffee in my yeti mug now but i could have done that with the press i had before
