Pros

The spray works fine, but then i tried a quart of oil-base helmsman and wow, what a difference. Exterior use requires 4 coats so be prepared for a lot of sanding if using on exterior surfaces.

Cons

Tried cleaning the nozzle but no luck. The smell is that of a horrific burnt chemical. It looks like i didn't apply any polyethylene at all.

Some company is out cheating customers. It was terribly disappointing to say the least. Do not recommend.

Can was labeled satin but was gloss. Suppose to be satin. It is not clear, it is yellow snot color! Not clear - it add a yellow tint!

I have used sun rated polyurethanes and varnishes and they don’t hold well at all in sun and rain

The spray gets into every nook and cranny

This stuff is crazy expensive but it does exactly what it says

Probably not done in shipping it looked like it was shipped that way

Packaging/appearance

First of all the quart size can of spar urethane came in a not too well protected box

Product still usable but can badly dented due to scanty padding in small flimsy packing box

Competitiveness

I prefer this waterbased version of helmsman because it is easier to apply than oilbased version of helmsman
