The fabric is thin and light, but heats up nicely. The merino wool blend is very soft and not scratchy in the least. The fold over cuff provides extra warmth.

The feel of the hat is slippery. The hat is pretty loose and might blow off in a strong breeze. Is for the twenty bucks i wasted on this hat.

Even lightweight merino wool is not warm enough for me personally. It fails to keep me warm when the temperature is 45 or less.

I believe this company is intentionally being deceitful when they say 100% merino wool. First, i don't believe it is merino wool; rather it is small and stretchy, like spandex or other synthetic-based stretchy materials.
