The mintbox 3 thus far seems incredibly unreliable. There aren't any amd options when ordering the mintbox for those of us that prefer how amd works with linux.

I am hoping there is something they can do to get the audio ports working as that is the only issue i have with the system
All components are high quality ram crucial ssd samsung 970 evo plus intel latest processor including body of the computer

I plan to add 16gb more ram another nvme ssd and a 2
I shut it down opened it up and added a second nvme drive which was surprisingly easy to do
The second nvme drive was detected and i installed pop

The i3m integrated interactive information monitor display on the front panel was not fully functional on my machine after initial boot in that it was not displaying cpu and gpu temperatures and core frequencies

The patent disk cartridge system is though not as easy as “hotswap” bays pretty slick

On the other hand the difference between the pro and the basic is configuration they are basically the same machine and upgrading should be easy

I might also comment that the mintbox 3 basic boots up faster from shutdown than my windows 10 machine does from fast start
