Pros & Cons
Pros
Can run clockwise and counterclockwise. Needs a 3-position selector switch to set the speed lo/md/hi. Comes with a wall switch that sets the speed.
Easy to install, works perfectly and quietly. The installation was straightforward, although starting some of the connection screws is always difficult when working on a ladder. Well worth the price.
Esthetically, it's beautiful. Metal has a nice sheen to it. Love the sleek look in my old farmhouse.
The three-bladed design means less drag on the motor. I love that there are only three blades as it doesn't overpower the room. The blades are made of some sort of polymer and were easy to scuff up to paint.
Cons
It now sounds like the bearing is grinding. Big company logo on switch.
