I have been using 3W BC type for almost a week now, in my front outside light, and am very happy with it. I would buy it again and I would recommend it. My only slight hesitation would be the colour temperature of the light output is cold white rather than warm white. In an outside light it isn't a problem, but, personally, I would want one with a warmer colour temperature if I was using it indoors.It was as easy to fit as changing a light bulb. It switches on at a good time, maybe a few minutes earlier than I would, but at the same time as the sensor lights on the public building opposite my house, so no problems there. I'm not sure when it switches off in the morning as it's getting light so early at the moment, but it all seems to be fine as far as I can tell. I was concerned that it would come on too early due to the location of the light in our porch and the shape of the light fitting, but I've had no problems there.If like me you want to test it by covering it with a cloth to check it works, I found it switches on after about 10 seconds, but takes a minute or two to switch off once uncovered. Ordinarily that won't matter, but just so you know, as I thought it was broken and was about to send it back when it then switched off.  Read Less
