Useless bit of kit. In order for it to hold my phone, it needs to have supports resting on the power button. Which locks the phone. If you try and offset it slightly, the supports are too weak.

The original just relies on spring pressure to hold the phone in place

So you cannot rotate the head around to have the camera pointing down between the tripod legs
