It's the perfect size, nothing much larger would fit, but i discovered the top does not detach, making tossing the trash a bit messier than i would have liked.

I bought 2 of these thinking they were a lot smaller.

The only negative is the lid came a bit bent so the lid would get stuck when you tried to use it, but i was able to bend it with some pliers to get it to work correctly.
