Pros & Cons
Pros
The beelink mini s is a great value for the buck. No noise with regular load. No complaints, highly impressed & super happy.
This pc is perfect for streaming, web browsing and light task. It runs office 365 with several browsers open and streaming video. Its a very nice pc for reading email, surfing the web, office applications.
Windows 11 compatibility mode allows it to play my old angry birds games. Multitasks much better than i expected from a single channel system with a celeron in it. Running openbuilds control, lightburn (for laser) and a few other apps.
Passmark benchmark is 1536; better than i expected. Ram slot is upgradeable to 16gb which is a bonus. Single channel 256gb nvme is much faster than the usb ssd on the other tested mini pc, 850 vs 550 mb/s.
The incredibly compact footprint/size of the unit is really a benefit. It handles the most common use cases flawlessly.
Cons
Typical chinese junk, strenghtening the sterotype. Tech support is horrendous. They give cursory support at best.
